Baking soda (sodium bicarbonate): 1 teaspoon

Water: a few drops

Step-by-Step

Mix the baking soda with just enough water to make a thick paste.

Dab it onto the sting and leave to dry, about 15 minutes.

Rinse off with cool water and repeat if the itch returns.

Tips

Remove a bee sting first by scraping sideways, not squeezing.
